Lilly Pultizer for Target Look Book

Hey Target lovers! Get ready to book a beach vacay ASAP, Lilly Pultizer for Target is almost here! If this collaboration doesn’t justify hopping on a plane to the nearest beach, I don’t know what does.

In the words of Lilly Pulitzer, “Anything is possible with sunshine and a little pink.”

In January, Target announced their upcoming partnership with the high-end, preppy designer, Lilly Pulitzer and they just released the full look book! This limited edition collection launches April 19th and includes 250 pieces, ranging from clothing, accessories and shoes for both women (including plus size!) and girls, as well as home decor, outdoor accessories and beauty products! What more could a girl want? The 15 exclusive collaboration prints are bright, playful and true to the Lilly Pulitzer brand esthetic.

As I scrolled through the look book, it was impossible for me to find a favorite look. I was pinning nearly every item! The collection has a bright, carefree feel to it that (in typical Lilly fashion) screams Palm Beach! I pulled together some of my favorite items in the collage below. These are serious summer must haves! The white eyelet coverup is so easy and how cute does it look paired with that straw tote on the model above? And what about that fringe kimono? It is perfect paired with a swimsuit for a day spent poolside! Lastly, those accessories! I cannot stop thinking about these pineapple sandals! They are so fun and unexpected! Really, I could go on for days, so I’ll let you just check out the look book yourself!

Perry Street Amelie Crystal Necklace (retails at $90, member price is $72)– When I saw this necklace in my rocksbox, I could hardly contain my squeals of delight! I’ve seen this necklace featured before and have had my eye on it! BUT, when I started trying it on, I found it harder to wear than I expected. I ended up finding the perfect tank to pair it with, my Old Navy Hi-Neck Tank! (ft. in Pink Pumps post), it looks great with anything simple and hi-necked.

Gorjana Mika Cutout Drop Earrings (retails at $65, member price is $52)– As I’ve mentioned before, Gorjana has become one of my favorite jewelry designers! Their pieces are well-made and you can feel the quality of them as soon as they touch your skin. These earrings are no exception. These completely WOWed me as soon as I saw them. They are so fun and geometric with just a little edge! And they are just delicate enough to pair with all my favorite gold accessories.

Sophie Harper Pavé Bar Necklace (retails at $56, member price is $44)– This delicate pavé necklace is right on trend! I love the simple and dainty look of this necklace. Because it’s so beautifully simple, I find myself wearing it all the time! It goes well with all my gold jewelry, but especially with the Gorjana earrings featured above! And just like Gorjana, this Sophie Harper necklace is great quality. They have been my go to dynamic gold duo these days, a perfect pair!

Shine & Wine

This past weekend my husband and I drove up north into wine country. We were itching to get out of the city and take advantage of the nice weather, so what better place to go to than Healdsburg, CA? Don’t get me wrong, we love Napa and Sonoma, but our favorite spot of all is Healdsburg! This small town is packed full of cute shops, delicious restaurants and most importantly, amazing wineries! What more could a girl ask for?

A lot of the wineries in Healdsburg have a rustic, casual feel to them. They are much more laid back than the mansions you see sprinkled about Napa. The experience is all about the wine and relaxing. In my opinion there is no better way to spend a Sunday than lounging on a patio sipping wines made from the grapes just a few feet away.

As we were exploring the grounds we came across this old blue truck. Although it’s a chevy, it reminded me of my dad’s old blue ford truck we had growing up so I couldn’t resist taking a few pictures with it. It was a ton of fun and brought back some great memories! Perry Street Rosalie Crystal Ring (retails at $52, member price is $41)– For the first time in awhile, I am not completely in love with one of my Rocksbox items. Although this statement ring has an incredible look, the fit was off. It has an adjustable sizer inside the ring that is supposed to make it a perfect fit for everyone, but I found it to do the opposite. Although the inside sizer fit me, the main ring was way too big and the heavy jewels wobbled around whenever I moved my hand. Even though it looked great, I found myself leaving it in my jewelry box every morning because of the sizing issue. I’ll have to send this one back, Rocksbox!

Gorjana Roya Collar Necklace (retails at $93, member price is $74)– Gorjana has become one of my favorite jewelry designers. Their pieces are well-made and you can feel the quality of them as soon as they touch your skin. Although this necklace didn’t wow me at first glance, I found myself layering it with longer gold pendants and wearing it with almost every outfit! It’s delicate and somehow still makes a statement! I definitely recommend gorjana to any girl looking for some delicate gold jewelry and specifically this beautiful Roya Collar necklace!

Urban Gem Pave Ball Studs in Gold (retails at $60, member price is $48)– What’s not to love about these sparkly pave studs? These earrings are simple and gorgeous! Although I think they pair perfectly with a preppy sweater and jeans, they can easily be dressed up or down and worn with almost anything. I’ve found myself replacing my everyday studs with this more glamorous pair for work, date night and brunch. I’m still debating whether I’ll send this pair back or not, what do you think? Flowers & Fringe

The weather in San Francisco was unbeatable this weekend so my husband and I took advantage of the sunshine and went on a stroll through Golden Gate Park. For those of you who don’t know, Golden Gate Park is even bigger than Central Park so we spent hours there and barely made a dent on the map.

We spent a lot of our time in the The Conservatory of Flowers (pictured below) and the Botanical Gardens. As you can see, the place was covered with bright, blooming flowers… I felt right at home in my floral maxi! The park trails took us from hiking up wooden steps, strolling around the lake, to inside a museum. It’s tough to find an outfit that can fit the bill for all that so I stuck to this casual light layered look. It has a boho feel that keeps it casual and pairing it with sandals keeps it comfy. There’s a few things I love about this necklace. 1- It’s actually pretty light for a statement necklace. Jules Smith Open Double Pearl Ring (retails at $50, member price is $40)– This delicate ring has been a conversation piece. It’s so simple, but every time I wear it at least one person comes up to me asking where I bought it… that’s saying a lot for such a tiny ring! The pearl trend is huge right now and this is such a modern take on it. I don’t know if I’ll be able to part with this one!

Vanessa Mooney The Starlight Cuff in Silver (retails at $120, member price is $96)– This starlight cuff has the best of both worlds, gold and silver! I love the flexibility it gives me with the mixed metals, I found myself wearing it much more than I thought I would. The arrows are a fun twist and the cuff is actually a good size so it serves as a statement cuff.

Slate Barred Cuff (retails at $38, member price is $30)– I love this cuff! It’s simple, but edgy! Most of my bracelets are gold these days, so it was nice to get this silver cuff to mix it up and make a statement. For a casual look, it’s great to layer over a long sleeve top or with just a t-shirt and jeans. I know it will be easy to get my money’s worth out of this rental!

Gorjana Fancy Horn Long Necklace (retails at $68, member price is $54)– This is now the third Gorjana piece I’ve received in my Rocksbox, and they do not disappoint. This necklace is stunning! Similar to last month’s delicate necklace, it’s an amazing layering piece and is super versatile. You can’t really see the chain in the picture, but it’s a long necklace, measuring in at 27 inches long! I think it’s amazing and will definitely be layering it with my free “shine necklace” from Rocksbox!

Loren Hope Ursa Earrings (retails at $78, member price is $62)– Wow, these are some statement earrings! Now I love a good pair of statement earrings, but for a normal workday I tend to lean towards statement necklaces. They usually come off a bit more casual and are just more comfortable for all day wear. These earrings are really fun, but I don’t see myself getting a ton of use out of them. That’s why Rocksbox is amazing, I can get a few fabulous wears out of them, send them back and start wearing my new fabulous pieces!

It’s that time of year, holiday events and parties seem to be sprinkling everyone’s calendars these days. Holiday dressing can be a ton of fun, but it can also be a little tricky. So many holiday trends come in the form of tiny dresses and tank tops so it’s important to find the perfect layer to keep you warm on those wintery nights!

Fall Flats | Oxford Chic

I am fully embracing the flat trend this fall. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE my heels, but some mornings it’s just a little easier to walk to work in flats.

One of my favorite flat trends right now is taken right from the men’s department, lace-up oxfords! But these flats are anything but manly- pastel, leopard, polka dots and sparkles are just a few ways to add a feminine touch to oxfords. I think the metallic pairs are a ton of fun, I snagged these Naya Tahlia Metallic Oxfords from Hautelook a few months ago and have been getting a ton of milage out of them, check them out in my Mint Tweed post!
