The Most Comfortable Shoes for your Summer
If you are anything like me, you are on the go all summer long. Most weekends I’ll be out running errands from brunch to dusk and on my feet the whole day! That’s why I pulled together the most comfortable shoes to get you through these extra long summer days.
I was inspired to write this post when I saw Nike’s new Lunarsandiator Sky Hi Sandals. This sandal is the perfect marriage of style and comfort. It gives you the on trend gladiator look partnered with Nike’s cushioned Lunarlon midsole. Reviews say they are so light they won’t weigh you down and you can walk all day in them with ease!
Since these brand new Nike’s are hard to get your hands on, I supplemented with some other comfy wedges on the market this summer. Tom’s strappy wedges are always a great choice and they have tons of color and print options this season! Another brand I can always count on for comfort is Cole Haan. Their Leather Strappy Cork Wedges are a classic choice to keep your feet happy. Maybe you’re the girl who wishes you could wear your Uggs in the summer? Guess what, you can! Uggs has an amazing collection of stylish summer wedges that will keep your feet cool and comfy. Check out the rest of my comfortable summer shoes below and share your favorites in the comments!

Not Your Average TOMS
TOMS have been my go to comfort shoe since college. Back in the day when TOMS had a selection of just canvas slip-ons, they were perfect for running quick errands and even walking around campus all day. Their One for One campaign has always been compelling, but what keeps me coming back every season is the expanding selection. I’ve migrated from solid slip-ons to wedge booties and sandals! I even wore the light pink wedges as my wedding reception shoes! (featured here in my Farmer’s Market post) My collection of TOMS has become pretty vast over the years and they are ALL super comfortable. Awesome cause and cute shoes? Sign me up!
One of the more recent collaborations I have been lusting over is TOMS & Jonathan Adler, a few of my favorite pieces are featured below!
Overall TOMS are pretty affordable and I ALWAYS get my moneys worth! But, lately I’ve been wanting to upgrade to the TOMS+ collection. If you aren’t familiar with the TOMS+ line, it is a higher-end, luxury line TOMS offers and they have some really cute stuff! I love the cobalt woven classics, the stripes/floral mixing and the tropical wedges! All the prints are vibrant, fun and perfect for summer!
Lastly, I couldn’t leave out the awesome Men’s selection. My husband is a huge fan of TOMS. He has a few lace-up pairs in chambray and burlap. They are so versatile and great for his city commute! Below I added in some of my favorite men’s styles, what do you think of them? Would you by any of these TOMS? Share with me in the comments below!
Ferry Building Farmers Market
This past Saturday, my husband and I made a trip to the Ferry Building Farmers Market. I love strolling along the embarcadero when it’s nice out- it’s so relaxing and the views are incredible! We were in search of some fresh fruit, but this farmers market has much more than that! The options were endless for produce, pasta, flowers and more. Check out the amazing hydrangeas I found below!
This weekend was a little chillier in San Francisco, so I opted for my go-to Levi’s 501 Selvedge Jeans and a chambray top. I also broke out my pink TOMS wedges this weekend. Because these TOMS are so cute, comfortable and polished, I chose them as my “dancing shoes” for our wedding reception. Now I love wearing these when I’m spending the day with my husband, it takes me back to how much fun we had dancing the night away! Do you have shoes that carry memories like these do? If so, share in the comments below!

Red Wine & Red Rompers
This past weekend, my husband and I took a trip to Healdsburg, CA. We have been talking about taking a trip up to wine country to stock up on our favorite beverage for some time now and finally decided to plan it. For this trip, we focused on this adorable little town called Healdsburg. The wineries were beautiful, the weather was great and the food was amazing; we couldn’t have asked for anything more from this small town!
Since it’s much warmer in this area than San Francisco, I decided to go with this bold shorts romper from Forever 21. As I’ve mentioned before, I love the ease of rompers and this one is no exception! I paired it back with gold and camel accessories for a fresh summer look. What are your favorite day trip looks? Shop mine below!

Dots & Ruffles
This weekend I stumbled upon this wall of beautiful pink flowers and just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to use it as a backdrop. How could I when these vibrant blooms perfectly matched my pink bamboo clutch? I paired this bold clutch back to this effortless romper I got from Forever21 (for only $19.80!). Rompers are a must for any girl’s wardrobe. Since they are a one-piece look, they are so easy to throw on and look fabulous!
Forever 21 Polka Dot Romper / Cleopatra Brooke Clutch (purchased on Hautelook, but also sold at Overstock) / Michael Antonio Nude Wedges (similar options: DV by Dolce Vita, BP at Nordstrom and BC Footwear at Zappos) / Gold Spike Necklace from Nordstrom (similar options: Neiman Marcus lastcall, Apt. 9 by Kohl’s and Sam Edelman) / LC by Lauren Conrad Sunglasses (similar options: here and here at Forever 21)
Lastly, I finished the look with neutral accessories. In my opinion, it’s not summer without wedges and these Michael Antonio nude wedges are one of my favorite pairs. Not only do they go great with everything, they are super comfy! I also love the inner beauty of gold metallic that peeks out under my toes; it adds a little extra glam to the look. Can’t get enough rompers? Check out my post last week Eyelet Romper. Which look is your favorite?
