Not Your Average TOMS

TOMS have been my go to comfort shoe since college. Back in the day when TOMS had a selection of just canvas slip-ons, they were perfect for running quick errands and even walking around campus all day. Their One for One campaign has always been compelling, but what keeps me coming back every season is the expanding selection. I’ve migrated from solid slip-ons to wedge booties and sandals! I even wore the light pink wedges as my wedding reception shoes! (featured here in my Farmer’s Market post) My collection of TOMS has become pretty vast over the years and they are ALL super comfortable. Awesome cause and cute shoes? Sign me up!

One of the more recent collaborations I have been lusting over is TOMS & Jonathan Adler, a few of my favorite pieces are featured below!

Overall TOMS are pretty affordable and I ALWAYS get my moneys worth! But, lately I’ve been wanting to upgrade to the TOMS+ collection. If you aren’t familiar with the TOMS+ line, it is a higher-end, luxury line TOMS offers and they have some really cute stuff! I love the cobalt woven classics, the stripes/floral mixing and the tropical wedges! All the prints are vibrant, fun and perfect for summer!

Lastly, I couldn’t leave out the awesome Men’s selection. My husband is a huge fan of TOMS. He has a few lace-up pairs in chambray and burlap. They are so versatile and great for his city commute! Below I added in some of my favorite men’s styles, what do you think of them? Would you by any of these TOMS? Share with me in the comments below!

Strappy Steals

Happy Mani-Monday everybody! I hope you had a fabulous weekend and took some extra time to give your toes a pedicure… because it’s sandal season! In honor of my weekend pedi, I wanted to share my favorite sandals. If you don’t know much about me, I am usually known to gravitate to the shiniest object in the room. The more bling the better right? But this spring I’m focusing my love on the simple and sleek sandals out there. These leather strapped styles are great everyday shoes, adding some interest with crisscrossed straps and buckles. And if you are looking for something a little more interesting, check out these styles with a pop of color, animal print and rhinestones (I couldn’t completely give up the sparkle!). They are all adorable and all under $50! What are your favorite strappy deals you’ve snagged this sandal season? Share with me below!

Fringe by the Bay

Flowers are blooming, birds are chirping and the sun is shining! San Francisco weather has been unusually warm and I have been taking advantage of it. Any chance my husband and I get, we take a trip to a park or beach. In this case we walked up to the pier and spent the day at Ghiradelli Square. We love to bring a book, some snacks and hang out and enjoy the weather. Often times we will take the scenic route back and stop for dessert along the way. It’s a great, relaxing way to spend the day outside together.

On this beautiful day by the bay, I chose to go for the boho chic look. I paired this vintage shift dress back to my go-to Levi’s denim vest. I brought the whole look together with this super fun ALDO Fringed Crossbody and beaded sandals. This outfit was the perfect laid-back look to spend the day lounging beachside. Do you have plans to go to the beach soon? If so, what’s on your packing list?

Gladiator Glam

I have been seeing Stuart Weitzman’s Gladiator Sandals everywhere this spring! They are spotted on countless celebrities and are a great way to add some sass to a summer outfit. I have been dying for a pair, but at $398 they are a little out of my price range! I have hunted around and have finally found some great options for a fraction of the price. Check out your options below, can you tell which one is the real deal ($398) and which are the looks for less ($40-$80)? Click on the picture to reveal the brand and price!
