All American Twirl

Hi all! I hope you had an amazing holiday weekend! Fourth of July is for spending time with family, enjoying the outdoors, eating great food and watching fireworks, of course! My wonderful weekend included all of these All American things.

While roaming the streets this weekend I saw so many patriotic outfits. Independence Day is a great excuse to show off your favorite red, white and blue outfits. I love all the stars, stripes and flag pieces, but for a dressier look I opted for this simple white organza skirt and paired it back to an American classic, a Levi’s denim vest! Also, I’ve been looking for an excuse to wear these amazing blue printed wedges I scored from Hautelook! What better excuse than this festive holiday?

Ferry Building Farmers Market

This past Saturday, my husband and I made a trip to the Ferry Building Farmers Market. I love strolling along the embarcadero when it’s nice out- it’s so relaxing and the views are incredible! We were in search of some fresh fruit, but this farmers market has much more than that! The options were endless for produce, pasta, flowers and more. Check out the amazing hydrangeas I found below!

This weekend was a little chillier in San Francisco, so I opted for my go-to Levi’s 501 Selvedge Jeans and a chambray top. I also broke out my pink TOMS wedges this weekend. Because these TOMS are so cute, comfortable and polished, I chose them as my “dancing shoes” for our wedding reception. Now I love wearing these when I’m spending the day with my husband, it takes me back to how much fun we had dancing the night away! Do you have shoes that carry memories like these do? Flowers and Vines

As I mentioned in Monday’s Red Wine and Red Rompers post, my husband and I had a great time in Healdsburg, CA this past weekend. This tiny town not only offered us great wine, but also gorgeous views! These snapshots were taken at Truett Hurst, a rustic winery with incredible landscaping and awesome grounds to explore.

On this windy day, I sported this chiffon floral maxi (an incredible deal I snagged from Forever 21!). I felt pretty fabulous as it caught in the gusts of wind as we walked around the winery. Since I knew we would be on our feet all day, I stayed practical and finished this look with my favorite rhinestone flats and this simple blush crossbody. It was a fresh, easy summer look that worked perfectly for a day spent relaxing outside.

Red Wine & Red Rompers

This past weekend, my husband and I took a trip to Healdsburg, CA. We have been talking about taking a trip up to wine country to stock up on our favorite beverage for some time now and finally decided to plan it. For this trip, we focused on this adorable little town called Healdsburg. The wineries were beautiful, the weather was great and the food was amazing; we couldn’t have asked for anything more from this small town!

Since it’s much warmer in this area than San Francisco, I decided to go with this bold shorts romper from Forever 21. Fringe by the Bay

Flowers are blooming, birds are chirping and the sun is shining! San Francisco weather has been unusually warm and I have been taking advantage of it. Any chance my husband and I get, we take a trip to a park or beach. In this case we walked up to the pier and spent the day at Ghiradelli Square. We love to bring a book, some snacks and hang out and enjoy the weather. Often times we will take the scenic route back and stop for dessert along the way. It’s a great, relaxing way to spend the day outside together.

On this beautiful day by the bay, I chose to go for the boho chic look. I paired this vintage shift dress back to my go-to Levi’s denim vest. I brought the whole look together with this super fun ALDO Fringed Crossbody and beaded sandals. This outfit was the perfect laid-back look to spend the day lounging beachside. This weekend I stumbled upon this wall of beautiful pink flowers and just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to use it as a backdrop. How could I when these vibrant blooms perfectly matched my pink bamboo clutch? I paired this bold clutch back to this effortless romper I got from Forever21 (for only $19.80!). Rompers are a must for any girl’s wardrobe. Since they are a one-piece look, they are so easy to throw on and look fabulous!

Lastly, I finished the look with neutral accessories. In my opinion, it’s not summer without wedges and these Michael Antonio nude wedges are one of my favorite pairs. Not only do they go great with everything, they are super comfy! I also love the inner beauty of gold metallic that peeks out under my toes; it adds a little extra glam to the look.
