This outfit is one of my favorites! It is so cheery and giving off all the Memorial Day weekend vibes! These shorts are the amazon find and the couldn’t be more comfortable! They run true to size and I usually order one size up in shorts. I think I will be ordering another pair in a different (…and probably more subtle) color!

This is also another super comfy outfit that is perfect for a casual summer day. I love this off the shoulder top. It is nice it has this waffle texture, but isn’t too think or hot for summer. It also runs true to size- I’m wearing a medium in the blue-green color.

Now onto my fitness finds. First, there is this super fun and girly pink top. I love, the high-neck and that it ties in the back. It also has a mesh V in the back that adds some extra interest. And I don’t know how they do it with the price so low, but it feels like BUTTER! It is so soft! I not only wan’t to wear it to workout, but also all day around the house. It’s that good!
Here we have a full amazon find- top/bottom combo. These leggings are exactly like lululemon’s align leggings, but a fraction of the cost. They have the same high waist, the same stretch and are just as soft! And this shirt is just as good as the last one. It is super soft, has the flattering high neck and is such a great price point!

Lastly, I LOVE this simple white cover-up. So many coverups these days have the tassel, the fringe, the lace.. all the things. And sometimes I just want something simple to throw on to head down to the pool. And this is perfect for that! It’s has a clean white shape, with just a simple ruffle on the sleeves and hem that makes it drape beautifully!

The Most Comfortable Shoes for your Summer
If you are anything like me, you are on the go all summer long. Most weekends I’ll be out running errands from brunch to dusk and on my feet the whole day! That’s why I pulled together the most comfortable shoes to get you through these extra long summer days.
I was inspired to write this post when I saw Nike’s new Lunarsandiator Sky Hi Sandals. This sandal is the perfect marriage of style and comfort. It gives you the on trend gladiator look partnered with Nike’s cushioned Lunarlon midsole. Reviews say they are so light they won’t weigh you down and you can walk all day in them with ease!
Since these brand new Nike’s are hard to get your hands on, I supplemented with some other comfy wedges on the market this summer. Tom’s strappy wedges are always a great choice and they have tons of color and print options this season! Another brand I can always count on for comfort is Cole Haan. Fresh and Affordable Activewear
Walking around the city I notice more and more people are wearing activewear as everyday wear. And why shouldn’t they? It’s not only cute, it’s comfortable and so practical for running around town.
With the active trend growing, more and more retailers (like Forever 21, H&M and Old Navy) are jumping on the active bandwagon and offering some really cute and affordable options!
The activewear selection is bigger (and cuter!) than ever before. Lately I’ve been loving the abstract printed pieces, like the leggings and sports bra below. Trees, Sun and Waterfalls in Big Sur
This past weekend, my husband and I decided to take an impromptu trip down to Big Sur. It was so refreshing to take a break from the city and spend our long weekend exploring the outdoors in the sunshine!
As we made our way down Highway 1, the views only got more amazing. We stopped at almost EVERY vista point to take in the sights, hike down to the beach and we even spotted some whales in the sea and condors in the sky! The journey down to Big Sur was so almost as amazing as the actual hike we were headed to… almost!
When we finally made it to our trail, we were amazed by the humongous redwoods towering above us and the panoramic ocean views. The water was so blue and clear, nothing beats a west coast beach! It was truly breathtaking! But don’t take my word for it, see for yourself!- below are some pictures from our hike.
Lastly, for any of you planning a trip to Northern California, I definitely recommend adding Big Sur to your itinerary! The sights are beautiful and the journey is almost as good as the destination!

Slip-On Looks for Less
Living in downtown San Francisco, I do a ton of walking throughout the city. Whether it’s going to and from work, grocery shopping or even just walking down to the park, I rack up the miles! This kind of daily activity obviously calls for comfortable shoes, but you will never see me walking around the city in tennis shoes…. unless I’m at the gym and even then it’s a toss up.
That being said, I’m a huge fan of the fashion meets fitness trend that is becoming more and more popular (check out the Track Pant Trend!). And as I’ve mentioned before I am a HUGE fan of slip-ons, specifically these amazing Topshop Silp-ons I’ve been rocking all year. But I thought it was about time I spice up my slip-on collection with a new style or two.
