AMAZON CASUAL FALL FASHION HAUL | JULY

Happy August Friends!! I am so excited to share this amazon casual fall fashion haul and finally share all my amazon finds and the outfits I packed for my trip to Europe in July! This post is long overdue, but the focus of this order was all super casual things that were easy to layer since the weather was a little unpredictable, mix and match, and also easy to nurse in and lets not forget, super affordable! So every item has functional buttons or a surplice top, but let me tell you, these items I kept are so so cute, I’ve been wearing them on repeat and all $25 or less!

Outfit 1:

This romper has been so easy for traveling and hanging out this summer! In addition, it fits true to size, I got a medium (in black) and it comes in about 15 options of solid colors, other stripes and even florals. I love the functional buttons, it has great length and it’s so comfy it’s like wearing pajamas around!

Outfit 2:

This romper is also super comfy, but looks much more dressy! It’s actually really lightweight, fits true to size and comes in 7 colors (and even polka dots- I thought about getting that one too!). I love that it has great coverage on the arms and good length on the shorts. It does have the functional tie I mentioned in the video, but I also linked the belt bag/fanny pack that I used and loved for traveling overseas!

Outfit 3:

How fun is this sassy dress? I love the stripes, I think they are so fun and flattering. In addition, a huge plus is the longer sleeves and the extra fabric in the bottom to give it that fun movement. I would say it runs a little small because I’m in my true size medium and it is pretty short on me (I’m 5’6″). However, the rest of it is fine, but I don’t think it would be too big on me if I would have sized up one. It comes in several other striped colors as well!

Outfit 4:

This might be my favorite of the haul. I didn’t think I would like the kimono trend, but i have been loving it and actually want to buy a few for fall as well! This kimono is giving me all the boho vibes and also give great coverage/layering option that doesn’t add any warmth at all! I do think this kimono runs large, I would recommend sizing down one. And I’m also loving these henley button tanks. I got three of them!! These tanks actually run small and I sized up one so it wouldn’t be fitted

Outfit 5:

So this is my second favorite item of the haul! I love this flirty, green printed skirt. It fits so well and will be so good to pair with graphic tees, jackets and even sweaters this fall. This is the same henley tank as the last picture, it also runs small, I sized up one to a large. It’s such a great staple for layering! And same sizing with the skirt, I sized up one to a large for a little longer length.

Outfit 6:

How fall is this little outfit? I’ve had this utility jacket for years and wear it all the time, but actually I also wear it all year long. In the spring and summer I just cuff up the sleeves and it’s a great light layering piece! In addition, are you surprised I needed this striped henley tank? It is perfect to tuck in, knot and even long enough for leggings!

Outfit 7:

This pink top is a nice, waffle material that is super lightweight. I loved this color for spring and summer, but it comes in lots of fall colors as well. In addition, the other colors are great too! I am looking at the olive one, but they also have black, oatmeal, burgundy and more! The sleeve length is perfect and it also looks really cute tucked in or just untied with leggings!

Outfit 8:

I love this black button front tie tank because I think the tan buttons pop and give it such cute detail. This is a great weight to be worn alone in summer, but will also be great to tuck in and pair with cardigans and jackets this fall. In addition, it comes in 10 colors and is a perfect staple!

Outfit 9:

Last, but not least is this bodysuit! I actually got it in both black and white. This tank is going to be more of a layering tank for me so I have something not so bulky to tuck into my jeans this fall. In addition, it has a slight racerback and functional buttons. I love the button detail because I think it gives it a nice pop!

Back to School in The Varsity Trend

School is in session and back to school sales are in full swing! It’s time to channel your inner school girl! I love all the tartan, plaid and varsity trends that are sprinkled in the windows this fall! This adorable trend makes me feel youthful and ready to tackle fall.

There is so much to love about the varsity trend. The huge numbered graphic sweaters are preppy and laid back at the same time. Plaid miniskirts and knee-high socks are a classic must have for fall. These adorable versatile backpacks are perfect for toting around your essentials, go classic with leather and tassels or modern with black nylon! Ankle booties and tasseled loafers are the perfect accessories to polish off your head to toe look! And don’t forget fall 2015’s most popular layering piece, the bomber jacket! Americana Ready- Stars & Stripes

My favorite time of the year is right around the corner, the fourth of July! I love the fireworks, the barbecue parties and of course the fun americana clothes!…. and I mean how can you resist sparklers?

Over the years, I’ve accumulated quite the collection of americana in my closet, but I love mixing it up with new items every year. My favorite, super easy look this year is Old Navy’s Star Print Dress. The chambray material makes it perfect for summer and I love the halter silhouette and added pockets. It’s adorable! I am also in love with this Tie Dye Crop Top and Denim Cut-offs. It’s the perfect fourth of July weekend uniform for spending the day out in the sun. And to keep it fun and casual, I think any of the outfits would look great with these amazing Red High Top Converse Sneakers, especially the White Overalls! Swim Trends for Your Summer on a Budget

Is your closet stocked with 2015’s latest swim trends? The official start to summer is less than a week away and it’s time to get your closet in poolside shape!

This year’s swim trends are so fun! There’s a ton of monokinis for those of you wanting a little more coverage, lots of colorblocking for the sporty girls, scallops and crochet for the girly girls and stripes and prints for the bold girls out there. As you can tell from my top picks featured below, I am really digging monokinis and one pieces. My absolute favorites are the Pink Scalloped Swimsuit and the Striped Swimsuit, which are a bargain at only $40 each!

At the start of each swim season, I like to buy one new swimsuit and maybe a new bikini top or bottom. I love to mix and match my bikinis. By buying just one new piece, I can pair it with some of my solid, polka dot or even printed bikinis. Bikini mix and match is so popular these days that almost anything goes! A Walk on the Wild Side- Flamingo Trend

Flamingos make me smile. They always have and always will! That’s why I am thrilled that all my childhood obsession is now a little less dorky and can fall into one of summer’s most playful trends, the tropical flamingo trend!

Lately I’ve been lusting over kate spade’s newest collection featuring “the rare birds of summer”. As always, kate spade finds a way to put a playful twist on her summer collection and these flamingos are almost too much for me to resist! Some of my favorite bags from her new arrivals are shown below. Beyond handbags, there are amazing wallets, phone cases, makeup bags, tees, dresses, etc., all featuring my favorite pink bird!

Although amazing, the price tags are a little high on these handbags considering they are extremely trendy and seasonal. Spring in your Step- Spring Shoe Trends

Magical things happen in Spring. Birds start chirping, flowers bloom, and people come out to soak up the sun.

I don’t know about you, but to me the spring season is all about getting out of hibernation and enjoying the outdoors. There are trails to be explored, parks to be sat in, pools to be swam in and most importantly… spring shoe trends to be worn! When looking for shoes to go out and enjoy the spring weather in, I have a few requirements… First of all, comfort! I love shoes that can be slid on and off easily and are comfortable enough for me to wear for hours. Second, versatility! It’s important for my shoes to not only be able to pair back to multiple things in my closet effortlessly, but I want them to take me from day to night. Spring days out and about often turn into spring nights unexpectedly! I don’t want to be caught in my flip flops while trying to enjoy a nice dinner with friends. Lastly, price! As you know, I am always price-conscious and shoes are no exception. I walk around so much that I find myself literally running my shoes into the ground. Between how fast I wear through them and how quickly trends change, I prefer to stick to a strict budget to keep both my wallet and my feet happy.
