White Eyelet and Bright Blooms

Spring is in full swing, I mean just look at those blooms! I paired all my favorite spring trends together for today’s look. Bright colors, eyelet and distressed denim! I’ve been wearing these pieces on repeat this spring and I think they will seamlessly carry me into summer!

White Eyelet Tee 1

Nothing makes a weekend better than the perfect pair of comfy boyfriend jeans. I am unhealthily obsessed with my newest Blank NYC jeans. They are stretchy, comfortable and I think the distressing on them is perfect. I find myself wearing them WAY too much. I would wear them everyday if I could!

When wearing boyfriend denim I think it’s important to pair them with girly pieces. The wedges and boyfriend jean combo is perfect for summer. It gives off a feminine, casual look that can take you from day to night. Finish the look with some fun accessories and you are ready to walk out the door!

Game On!

With the World Series continuing into the weekend, I already know my next few nights will be jam-packed with Giants festivities. I love showing spirit during the games, but not at the expense of style. I think it’s important to dress up the traditional team apparel, especially when the games fall on weekend nights.

My advice for taking your team gear to the next level:

  1. Pick one item with your team’s logo on it. I suggest hats, they are the easiest to dress up and down and can match back to a ton of things already in your closet! (You can’t go wrong with a baseball hat or a beanie- they are both on trend this fall!)
  2. Choose some girly items to pair with your team gear. Find a dress, skirt or even a lace top to wear with it. Any feminine details that soften the look will immediately transform it into night!
  3. Lastly, add some layers! Denim, leather, camo- any will work! You could even go further with the sporty look and wear a baseball or varsity jacket!

Check out my look below! I love the wool texture of this Giant’s hat. It’s perfect for fall and still screams Giants! (Don’t worry if you cheer for another team! They have a TON of cute team hats, with nearly every style, for every team!!) I chose to dress it up with a faux leather skirt and a hooded denim jacket. Now I’m ready for whatever this weekend throws at me! (Hopefully the Giants are too!)

Renegade Craft Fair- San Francisco

This past weekend, the Renegade Craft Fair passed through San Francisco and for those of you who don’t know, the Renegade Craft Fair is a network of events throughout the year that cater to the DIY & craft community. The RCF travels throughout the country (and to the UK) to 14 annual events in Chicago, New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Austin, Portland, and London. The businesses that fill the aisles of the fair are all creative and inspiring; they range from home décor and stationary, all the way to stuffed animal taxidermy. You could spend hours (and a lot of money!) shopping all the different vendors.

Some of our favorite items were the creative posters and prints. Below is a sampling of some of the posters we ran across. The cocktail prints on the left were especially fun! They give a visual makeup of the ingredients of different cocktails, these would look great above a bar cart or in a kitchen.

Pictured below was one of the stores we really loved, Alibi Interiors. This shop had a rustic charm and each piece really felt unique since they were made with reclaimed wood. I have been thinking about creating a gallery wall in our living room, so I have had my eye out for small unique frames and décor. This shop had just that! Some pieces were all natural and others were painted colors, including metallic gold! They had a good mix of frames in all sizes, making it a breeze to find what we needed. (check out the bookshelf of frames!)

We loved this shop so much, we ended up leaving with the frames and chalkboard below. We also snagged this adorable bear plank sign from JunkArtGypsyz. They had some awesome pieces, including marquee letters and wooden cut-outs. With these finds from the fair, we now have a solid start on our gallery wall. I can’t wait to share how it turns out!

The Renegade Craft Fair will be in Los Angeles, CA next weekend, see the full schedule below. If it’s stopping by your town, I recommend you attend… and bring your wallet! 🙂
