Hot Pink Pumps at the Palace

I grabbed these hot pink suede pumps off the clearance rack at Old Navy about a month ago and have been dying to wear them. Not only did I get a great deal, but also the heel height isn’t too high so they are easy to wear anywhere and they have a girly element to them that I just couldn’t resist.

This weekend I paired these hot pink suede pumps with my favorite Forever 21 skirt and moto jacket. There is nothing that makes me feel more like a princess than this airy organza midi skirt and pink heel combo! I had so much fun twirling around while we were shooting… unfortunately none of those action shots turned out, but I think the tourists at the Palace of Fine Arts got a good laugh!

I accessorized this feminine look with this edgy Perry Street necklace I got from Rocksbox. This bib necklace makes a statement and I think it looks great layered on top of this Hi-Neck Tank from Old Navy. This tank is a must-have for any girl with a collection of statement necklaces. It’s only $12 and is super soft, I’m headed back to Old Navy for additional colors!

What women want– that’s a mystery men have been trying to figure out for centuries! I don’t think this topic is something I can easily sum up in a blog post, but I’m here to help you answer “what women want for christmas“!

I know it’s not even Thanksgiving yet, but my Christmas shopping is already off to a strong start! Some of you might roll your eyes, but I live for this time of the year! I just love shopping for the perfect gift. It can be a lot of work, but nothing beats finding the ultimate gift that puts a smile on their face.

Below, I pulled together a complete collection of amazing gifts for any girl in your life. It’s important to keep in mind that every girl is different and therefore you need to pick a gift that suits her personality. Try using the collage below as inspiration. For example, accessories are a great gifting option (no sizing!), so maybe you decide to buy mittens. If your girl is a little funky, the bear mittens below would be perfect! Fall Layering Piece: The Quilted Vest

I’ve been looking for a budget friendly vest for awhile now and finally stumbled upon this quilted one from Old Navy. Although it’s thin, this vest is the perfect fall layering piece. I love the olive color, but you have to be careful how you style it so you don’t start looking like a lumberjack!

That’s why I chose to pair this vest with some über-feminine pieces. By styling olive with soft blush, it immediately softens the look up. I also layered it with a delicate sweater, my scallop clutch and some gold accessories which immediately brings up the sophistication level. What’s your favorite fall layering piece? Summer in San Francisco

As August comes to an end, summer in San Francisco begins! Fall is a magical time for us in San Francisco- it’s when temperatures start to rise and tourist season starts to wind down, the sun starts to shine a little brighter and the streets are a little less crowded. That’s why this weekend we were focused on enjoying our wonderful city!

I wore my favorite summer shorts, my white Levi 501’s. They scream summer with the multi colored neon dots embroidered on the front. With these temperatures, it’s key to wear your shorts and tanks, but I never leave home without a jacket! I chose my favorite chambray top from Levi’s, the perfect piece to complete any outfit and shield me from the wind.

I think personal style is the easiest way to express your personality. I love having fun and a sense of humor with my fashion choices- it reminds me to never take myself too seriously! This is why I was thrilled to see such fun and funky handbags coming back into style! These bags are statement pieces. You can barely even tell some of these are handbags!
