Perry Street Abby Necklace in Black Crystal (retails at $76, member price is $60)– This black and grey statement necklace is the perfect amount of edgy glam! It adds a sophisticated touch to any outfit and has been my go-to accessory for date night. The soft curves of the gems leave this necklace feeling romantic. And my favorite part is it’s black so it goes with almost every outfit in my closet!

House of Harlow 1960 Sunburst Bar Wrap Necklace in Gold (retails at $38, member price is $30)- I love this delicate House of Harlow necklace. The mixture of black and gold is perfect, I find myself layering it with all my work pieces. It’s great layered with any of my delicate gold necklaces and this one is a perfect length, which means it’s great to where as is wrap it and double it up!

Kendra Scott Dee Earrings in Black Opaque Glass (retails at $45, member price is $36)- With my newer short hair, I am loving drop earrings! They are elegant and immediately dress up any look! These black and gold kendra scott beauty’s not only go great with my other rocksbox picks, but they also go with tons of other choices in my jewelry box and closet. They are simple and effortless adding interest to any look!

February Rocksbox Review | 2015

Ready for another amazing Rocksbox? I know I am! I’m about to send this month’s box back and wanted to share what I thought with all of you! Although I’m not completely in love with all three of this month’s pieces, I do LOVE two of them! I’ve been wearing at least one of them everyday and even though I don’t want to send these jewels back, I can’t wait to get my next box!

How it works- It’s a monthly subscription costing $19/month. First you create a style profile, which basically consists of a quick survey of what jewelry types, metals, etc. you prefer and a gallery of pictures where you can pick your favorite items. From that profile, three styles are picked just for you and delivered in cute little boxes wrapped up with a ribbon. Now for the fun part… you can wear the jewelry as much as you want and just as easily send them back whenever you want! There’s no timeline, you can get as many or as little boxes as you want a month. Perry Street Rosalie Crystal Ring (retails at $52, member price is $41)– For the first time in awhile, I am not completely in love with one of my Rocksbox items. Although this statement ring has an incredible look, the fit was off. It has an adjustable sizer inside the ring that is supposed to make it a perfect fit for everyone, but I found it to do the opposite. Although the inside sizer fit me, the main ring was way too big and the heavy jewels wobbled around whenever I moved my hand. Even though it looked great, I found myself leaving it in my jewelry box every morning because of the sizing issue. I’ll have to send this one back, Rocksbox!

Gorjana Roya Collar Necklace (retails at $93, member price is $74)– Gorjana has become one of my favorite jewelry designers. Their pieces are well-made and you can feel the quality of them as soon as they touch your skin. Although this necklace didn’t wow me at first glance, I found myself layering it with longer gold pendants and wearing it with almost every outfit! It’s delicate and somehow still makes a statement! I definitely recommend gorjana to any girl looking for some delicate gold jewelry and specifically this beautiful Roya Collar necklace!

Urban Gem Pave Ball Studs in Gold (retails at $60, member price is $48)– What’s not to love about these sparkly pave studs? These earrings are simple and gorgeous! Although I think they pair perfectly with a preppy sweater and jeans, they can easily be dressed up or down and worn with almost anything. I’ve found myself replacing my everyday studs with this more glamorous pair for work, date night and brunch. I’m still debating whether I’ll send this pair back or not, what do you think? There’s a few things I love about this necklace. 1- It’s actually pretty light for a statement necklace. I know that seems silly, but a heavy necklace tends to rub my neck raw by the end of the day. 2- It’s neutral so it goes with everything, but still has an amazing bling factor! And for only $44, you are guaranteed to get your money’s worth!

Jules Smith Open Double Pearl Ring (retails at $50, member price is $40)– This delicate ring has been a conversation piece. It’s so simple, but every time I wear it at least one person comes up to me asking where I bought it… that’s saying a lot for such a tiny ring! The pearl trend is huge right now and this is such a modern take on it. I don’t know if I’ll be able to part with this one!

Vanessa Mooney The Starlight Cuff in Silver (retails at $120, member price is $96)– This starlight cuff has the best of both worlds, gold and silver! I love the flexibility it gives me with the mixed metals, I found myself wearing it much more than I thought I would. The arrows are a fun twist and the cuff is actually a good size so it serves as a statement cuff.

Slate Barred Cuff (retails at $38, member price is $30)– I love this cuff! It’s simple, but edgy! Most of my bracelets are gold these days, so it was nice to get this silver cuff to mix it up and make a statement. For a casual look, it’s great to layer over a long sleeve top or with just a t-shirt and jeans. I know it will be easy to get my money’s worth out of this rental!

Gorjana Fancy Horn Long Necklace (retails at $68, member price is $54)– This is now the third Gorjana piece I’ve received in my Rocksbox, and they do not disappoint. This necklace is stunning! Similar to last month’s delicate necklace, it’s an amazing layering piece and is super versatile. You can’t really see the chain in the picture, but it’s a long necklace, measuring in at 27 inches long! I think it’s amazing and will definitely be layering it with my free “shine necklace” from Rocksbox!

Loren Hope Ursa Earrings (retails at $78, member price is $62)– Wow, these are some statement earrings! Now I love a good pair of statement earrings, but for a normal workday I tend to lean towards statement necklaces. They usually come off a bit more casual and are just more comfortable for all day wear. These earrings are really fun, but I don’t see myself getting a ton of use out of them. That’s why Rocksbox is amazing, I can get a few fabulous wears out of them, send them back and start wearing my new fabulous pieces!

Charlene K Mini Raw Stone Pendant Necklace in Black Agate (retails at $83, member price is $66)– I love this long pendant necklace. It’s a long gold chain with a beautiful black agate stone pendant. The black stone not only makes it edgy, but also versatile! It goes with a ton of items in my closet and is unlike anything I currently have in my collection. I realize I’m starting to get quite a collection of gold necklaces, especially pendants. But, I get a ton of use out of them. They are great to layer and can be dressed up or down!

Margaret Elizabeth Chrysoprase Pave Studs (retails at $108, member price is $86)– These studs are stunning. I usually focus my statement jewelry on my necklaces, but every now and again I love to wear beautiful earrings. The mint color is on trend and compliments so many pieces in my wardrobe. And the gold pave setting complements the mint perfectly and makes the studs look very high end! Because of how nice they are, I will probably only be able to get a few uses out of them with how casual I normally dress, but I will definitely make them count!

Gorjana Mila Hexagon Cuff (retails at $65, member price is $52)– This is the second piece of jewelry I’ve received of Gorjana. Just like the last Gorjana necklace, I can immediately tell it’s great quality and has some weight to it. This cuff is a ton of fun and is different from any other bangle I own! Instead of the simple circle shape, it’s actually shaped like a hexagon. What I love most about this cuff is it’s adjustable! This makes it easy for me to wear with any of my other bangles.
