Peek-a-boo! | Sheer Panels

Ready to start showing some skin, but still working on that tan? That’s not going to be an issue this spring. Instead of baring it all, try out the sheer panel trend!

I collected a fabulous collection of sheer paneled tops, skirts and dresses below. The sheer panel trend gives these otherwise ordinary pieces a playful edge without becoming trashy. Some pieces, like the white paneled blouse and the ponte midi skirt, are a little more conservative and others, like the pencil skirt and the stripe crop top, are more flirty… but my absolute favorite is the blue piperlime midi skirt! You can dress it up with a blazer or dress it down with a tee. It makes a statement, but is still super versatile! Shop the trend below and share your absolute favorite in the comments!

Cool & Cozy

Fall in San Francisco is all about slowly transitioning yourself from summer into fall. Although September and October are technically fall months, we’ve had some of our warmest days of the year in these months! It doesn’t seem like Mother Nature is quite ready to embrace fall, but that doesn’t mean I’m not ready!

Cool and Cozy 1

In this type of weather, I’ve learned the best way to embrace fall without breaking a sweat is to mix your fall wardrobe with summer pieces. That way I can wear my new sweater and booties from Old Navy that I’ve been dying to wear and not have a heat stroke! I chose to pair these with my go-to chiffon skirt I got this summer, but a pencil skirt, a midi skirt or even cut-offs would work too!

The Grown-up Backpack

If you haven’t noticed, backpacks aren’t just for school buses anymore! They are not only the trendy new carryall, but also a practical accessory. I forgot how great backpacks were until I bought one to tote around this summer- they are great for day trips to the park, commuting to work or weekend trips! And don’t worry; there are more options than princesses and ninja turtles. Backpacks are now the chic accessory, coming in leather, studded and fringed! Below are a ton of trendy options that can take you from work to weekend!
