This past weekend my husband and I drove up north into wine country. We were itching to get out of the city and take advantage of the nice weather, so what better place to go to than Healdsburg, CA? Don’t get me wrong, we love Napa and Sonoma, but our favorite spot of all is Healdsburg! This small town is packed full of cute shops, delicious restaurants and most importantly, amazing wineries! What more could a girl ask for?
A lot of the wineries in Healdsburg have a rustic, casual feel to them. They are much more laid back than the mansions you see sprinkled about Napa. The experience is all about the wine and relaxing. In my opinion there is no better way to spend a Sunday than lounging on a patio sipping wines made from the grapes just a few feet away.
As we were exploring the grounds we came across this old blue truck. Although it’s a chevy, it reminded me of my dad’s old blue ford truck we had growing up so I couldn’t resist taking a few pictures with it. It was a ton of fun and brought back some great memories!
