Pink Floppy Hat on the Pier

PINK FLOPPY HAT ON THE PIER
Lately, my outfits have been centered around my accessories. Whether it's a hat, a bag, shoes or jewelry, these accessories seem to be dictating the rest of my outfit and I kinda love it! It's great when a statement piece can hold it's own in an outfit. This weekend it's all about my pink floppy hat!

Hot Pink Pumps at the Palace

Pink Pumps at the Palace 2
This weekend I paired these hot pink suede pumps with my favorite Forever 21 skirt and moto jacket. There is nothing that makes me feel more like a princess than this airy organza midi skirt and pink heel combo!

Beach Bumming in cut off denim shorts

beach bum 9
The weather in San Francisco has been hard to beat lately and I've been taking advantage of the sunshine as much as possible. On nice weekends it's only a short drive up north and we are at the beach! It feels great to take the day to relax and put my toes in the sand.

Shine & Wine

Shine and Vines 01
This past weekend my husband and I drove up north into wine country. We were itching to get out of the city and take advantage of the nice weather, so what better place to go to than Healdsburg, CA? Don't get me wrong, we love Napa and Sonoma, but our favorite spot of all is Healdsburg! This small town is packed full of cute shops, delicious restaurants and most importantly, amazing wineries! What more could a girl ask for?

Flowers & Fringe

The weather in San Francisco was unbeatable this weekend so my husband and I took advantage of the sunshine and went on a stroll through Golden Gate Park. For those of you who don't know, Golden Gate Park is even bigger than Central Park so we spent hours there and barely made a dent on the map.

Sparkle in Plaid

Sparkle in Plaid 5
Today is all about dolling up the rugged plaid trend. Just because a lumberjack wears plaid to chop down a tree doesn't mean we can't sparkle in it! I see a lot of girls sporting the plaid trend, but it's almost always paired back to sneakers and a ponytail. Don't get me wrong, that's an adorable casual look, but there's no reason you can't dress up that same plaid shirt!

Trees, Sun and Waterfalls in Big Sur

trees, sun and waterfalls 19
This past weekend, my husband and I decided to take an impromptu trip down to Big Sur. It was so refreshing to take a break from the city and spend our long weekend exploring the outdoors in the sunshine! As we made our way down Highway 1, the views only got more amazing. We stopped at almost EVERY vista point to take in the sights, hike down to the beach and we even spotted some whales and condors!

Mint Tweed

mint tweed 2
This past week, I decided to go for a more polished look with this mint green tweed jacket. I kept it easy by pairing it back with simple timeless pieces like a black tee and my selvedge Levi's. My favorite part of the outfit is the Naya Tahlia Metallic Oxfords. I got a great deal on these from Hautelook! They are definite statement shoes and are actually super comfortable! Although I was going for a menswear inspired look, I wanted to spice it up with all these metallic accessories to give a fresh, feminine look.

Fall Layering Piece: The Quilted Vest

Olive Quilted Vest
I've been looking for a budget friendly vest for awhile now and finally stumbled upon this quilted one from Old Navy. Although it's thin, this vest is the perfect fall layering piece. I love the olive color, but you have to be careful how you style it so you don't start looking like a lumberjack!

Cool & Cozy

Fall in San Francisco is all about slowly transitioning yourself from summer into fall. Although September and October are technically fall months, we’ve had some of our warmest days of the year in these months! It doesn’t seem like Mother Nature is quite ready to embrace fall, but that doesn’t mean I’m not ready! In this type of […]
