Trendy Spring Accessories on a Budget

Now that we are well into March, I am finding myself slowly transitioning my wardrobe into Spring.

Spring calls for a fresh new look- sunglasses, floral prints, sandals and pastels! Doing a complete overhaul of your wardrobe every season is a little unrealistic so I love getting affordable transitional pieces like these below that can spring forward any winter look. I pulled together some fun sunnies, comfy sandals and great totes for any girl-on-the-go! These reversible totes are a great way to add a pop of color into your look, but still keep it practical. I recently got this reversible tote from Nordstrom and have been obsessed! It goes with everything and goes with me everywhere! I use it as a gym bag, a laptop bag and a tote on the weekends. And for only $48, I’ve definitely gotten my money’s worth. For an even better deal, Old Navy has similar totes out right now in pink and mint! Get one before they are gone!

Shine & Wine

This past weekend my husband and I drove up north into wine country. We were itching to get out of the city and take advantage of the nice weather, so what better place to go to than Healdsburg, CA? Don’t get me wrong, we love Napa and Sonoma, but our favorite spot of all is Healdsburg! This small town is packed full of cute shops, delicious restaurants and most importantly, amazing wineries! What more could a girl ask for?

A lot of the wineries in Healdsburg have a rustic, casual feel to them. They are much more laid back than the mansions you see sprinkled about Napa. The experience is all about the wine and relaxing. In my opinion there is no better way to spend a Sunday than lounging on a patio sipping wines made from the grapes just a few feet away.

As we were exploring the grounds we came across this old blue truck. Although it’s a chevy, it reminded me of my dad’s old blue ford truck we had growing up so I couldn’t resist taking a few pictures with it. It was a ton of fun and brought back some great memories! Hope you enjoy them too! And as always, to shop the look scroll to the bottom of the post.

Let’s be Princesses!

What little girl didn’t want to be a Princess growing up? Disney Prinesses are magical! Maybe you wanted to be Cinderella, Ariel or Mulan? Maybe you wanted to be a different Princess every day of the week? Who could blame you! They are all amazing and it’s about time someone made a Princess collection so we can dress like one everyday of the week.

That’s where Kohl’s new Disney’s Cinderella Collection comes in! This collection is girly, whimsical and carefree. Check out how cute Lauren Conrad looks in her LC by Lauren Conrad Cinderella Collection!

I’ve been enchanted by Lauren Conrad’s spin on the Cinderella Collection. The Glass Slipper Sweater and the Tulle Skirt is one of my favorite looks and how adorable is that Organza Bow-Back Dress? After exploring her collection, I noticed Kohl’s Disney’s Cinderella Collection spans wider than just the LC by Lauren Conrad brand. The offering includes casual graphic tees, like the Tulip-Back Tank pictured below, and dressier pieces like the Rosette Strapless Dress. You can seriously dress like a Disney Princess for every occasion! My favorite part of the collection is they don’t scream “Princess”. These pieces give a subtle nod and a modern take on the Princess we all know and love, Cinderella. And if Cinderella isn’t the Princess you had your heart set on, you’re in luck! It sounds like Cinderella is the first Princess to get a Kohl’s collection, but not the last! We can expect the next launch in May. Until then, shop the looks below and let me know what you love and hate in the comments!
